這裡有美麗的海灘景觀，遠望能看到對面新北市的八里區及五股區海岸，以及關渡的紅色鐵橋。河面則有小型的機動船在活動。
There is a beautiful beach landscape, from a
distance you can see the coasts of Ba-li and Wu-gu Districts across New Taipei
City, as well as the red iron bridge of Guan-du. There are small motor boats on
the river.
有一片紅樹林，長得很茂盛，海灘上有許多招潮蟹在活動，牠們滿布在沙灘上，看似一片白色的菇狀體，一有人靠近，就快速地躲到小小的洞裡，動作十分迅速而整齊劃一，非常有趣 !
There is a mangrove forest that grows very
luxuriantly. There are many Fiddler Crabs on the beach. They are all over the
beach. They look like a white mushroom. When someone approaches, they quickly
hide in a small hole. Quick and neat, very interesting!
作者參觀時適逢陰天，如果是晴天到訪應該更美。
The author visited on a cloudy day, and it
would be more beautiful if it was a sunny day.
能到達的公車有215、536、紅10、及2號等路線。公車終點站前一站，是國立台北海洋科技大學站，學校大門就面對著它。
There are 215, 536, red 10, and 2 routes that
can be reached. One stop before the bus terminal is the National Taipei Marine
Science and Technology University Station, and the school gate faces it.
「社子島」最早開始係由基隆河與淡水河交匯而成的一個沖積平原。由於為了治瀉洪的關係 ，最裡面的中洲埔、溪洲底等地區被臺北市政府下令長期限建。目前以生態社子島規劃進行中。
"Shezi Island" was originally an
alluvial plain formed by the confluence of the Kee-lung River and Dan-shui
River. In order to control flood relief, the innermost areas such as Zhong-zhou-pu
and Xi-zhou-di were ordered by the Taipei City Government to build them for a
long time. The planning of ecological community island is currently in
progress.
